VRNA EMS “Game-Changing” for Medical Responders
Last week the Town of Vernon became the first community in Connecticut to launch VRNA EMS: VRSim’s cutting edge virtual reality training system for EMTs, police officers, firefighters and other medical first responders.
“For our first responders and trainees, VRSim’s game-changing system will allow our medical responders to efficiently build valuable experience and expertise, utilizing hundreds of scenarios in a highly realistic and controlled virtual environment. Ultimately sharpening their life-saving skills and abilities for when they’re called upon and needed in the real world.”
– Michael Purcaro, Town Administrator, Vernon
